He went on to serve as orÂganÂist and choirÂmasÂter at the First PresÂbyÂteriÂan Church, BrookÂlyn, New York (1880-1941); proÂfesÂsor of muÂsic at PackÂer ColÂleÂgiÂate InsÂtitÂute; warÂden of the Guild of AmerÂiÂcan OrÂganÂists; and vice-preÂsiÂdent of the DeÂpartÂment of MuÂsic at the BrookÂlyn InsÂtitÂute of Arts and SciÂencÂes.
